Free World Safety Tips

by Safety Tips on December 10, 2008

Working in a maximum security prison gives me a lot of advantage in recognizing and learning trends of gang activity and crime in the world we live in, referred to as the “free world“. There are certain movements of activity that start to develop in gangs across the nation, some have local tendencies while others are more prevalent nationwide. While I cannot speak for nations outside of the United States, there is one very dangerous activity that has been taking place here in the United States, predominately in the south and primarily in the state of Texas.
Motorist, BEWARE, if you are involved in a minor, motor vehicle accident, or as we called it when I was growing up, a car wreck, do not get out of your car if it was the fault of the other vehicle. Use your cell phone to contact the proper authority and wait for the other person to get out of their vehicle.
Gangs have been staging these accidents, and bumping into the rear of another car, and sometimes even into the side. When the victim gets out of the vehicle to check their car, the gang member then shoots them on the spot and flees the scene.
Take these Free World safety tips to heart and be careful and watchful of your surroundings at all times. Not everyone you encounter has good intentions. No need to walk in fear, just remind yourself and your loved ones to exercise caution if found in these circumstances, and above all else, be safe.
